According to Guillem Balague (on Revista de la liga in the UK) Henry's celebration was a joke the team have at the expense of Victor Valdes (probably why he didnt like it!) who apparently wears his shorts/trousers very high in training.

Its a bit funnier in that context, but still as unpleasant to see!

How was Ronaldo´s mom manipulated? Couldn´t it just be that she is a fan of Real Madrid and wants her son to play for them? She seems quite happy with the photo but wether it is appropriate to put her on the front cover or not is a another matter. But she was not misquoted unless she was referring to her husband or some nephew in Madeira.
